I would say, that this includes, elder's wives also. Elder tells wife to keep a watch on little Cindy at the hall, and keep her away from Brother Smith. She knows he was at a judicial meeting til late last night. She puts two and two together.

Bethel Boys: What's the Deal with Nethinim?

We won't hear very much more of the Nethinim group because the idea isn't needed now. Now the "generation" is set, the anointed channel is set, the new corporations are in place, the new buildings are planned, the "millions who would never die" are pretty much dead, and the future looks bright ahead.
Out with the old, in with the new! Remember when they told us there would be a new "system"? I think we're seeing it:-)Gary, this cracked me up!!!
If this "New Generation" change, goes without a hitch, as most "New Light" does, I can just picture the old GB members, HIGH FIVEING each other in their wheel chairs.

Didnt want it controling me so I quit.

i didnt have it under control.
i dont like being told what to do especially by inanimate objects.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!! I quit 6 years ago. I loved smoking. It was my best friend. I wouldn't go places with my family, because I wouldn't be able to smoke. That is really sad, when I think about how much control it had.
My first step, I didn't realize at the time, was to stop smoking in my car. I had bought my first car with leather seats, and the salesman told me that trade-in value goes down with smokiers. So, no cigarette was ever lit or smoked in my car. I had the car, light up a cig trigger, already beat.
When I decided to quit, I smoked ever butt in the ashtray. I even went out to the garage, and picked up a butt. I made a mental video, of how pathetic I was at this moment in time.
I bought some Nicorette gum, got sticker shock, and only chewed it when I really wanted a cig. I would even pretend to smoke while I chewed. Saying I needed a cig, while searching through my purse to get the gum. When I started chewing, I could actually picture myself smoking.
When I bought my 2nd box, I thought how stupid it was, to spend this much money on gum. I started chewing 1/2 of a piece, then 1/4. I made that box last and last. I finally got down to my last whole piece. I saved it for months in my purse. It is now, only 1/4 of a piece. It is 6 years old, but I still have it.

I heard this also, and thought the same thing, on the way home from work. The Pope met with some of the victims, and offered them his condolences, or apologies, (can't remember which) and prayed with them, and offered them hope, and a return to the Catholic Church.
Why would the WT apologize? They won't even admit what they are doing is wrong. Jehovah is telling them what to do.
Makes me attracted to the Catholics God. He seems much more of my liking.

by loosie insorry for the rant but hubby isn't home and i am irritated.. my 12 year old makes videos on you tube.
she is into japanese anime.
so sometimes she acts out made up skits with herself playing one the anime characters.. well at her birthday party saturday she told her 10 year old cousin (amber) what her account name was on you tube.

This happened when my daughter was around 8 years old. My babysitter, a devout Baptist, also took care of her own 9 yr old grand-daughter and 7 yr old grandson
I arrived after work, to pick up my child. She asked me to sit down. I knew it was bad. She said the children were playing a new game they made up. "The Cussing Game". The 3 kids swore on the Bible, that they would not tell anyone about the game, or what was said. They would take turns saying a new word.
When the mother of the boy, picked him up, he being a good Baptist like mom and grandma, had to confess all. His mother appalled, turned the car around, and headed back to grandma's house. Nobody could remember who actually started the game, rules were made by everybody.
I looked at my daughter, with glaring eyes, and told the babysitter that I would handle this at home. When we got home, I sat her down, and asked for details. When she finished, I told her to stand up, and I moderately swatted her blue jeaned butt, one time, and told her she was grounded... for the rest of the evening. She then had to call the babysitter, and the one daughter, and tell them, she had been spanked and grounded.
They were very happy, that my heathen child had been chastised. I told her to never tell how hard she was spanked, or how long she was grounded for.
Kids will be kids, and they have enough on their plate, and me on mine, to be uptight about "The Cussing Game". At least they knew they were bad words!!
Have your daughter, take it off of You Tube, and call the relatives, to tell them she was punished, and the awful video is gone. Then take her shopping!!
